Clothe The People
A mission inspires:
In April of 2011, a group from The Lords New Church had the chance to journey to South Africa and Lesotho on a mission. What they saw and experienced there changed their lives. They travelled all over both countries, travelled from village to village speaking with the people and asking them their greatest needs. They responded most strongly that clothing was at the top of the list; everything from undergarments to every day clothes and winter coats.
We discussed with our Church what we could do and we came up with “Clothe The People”, a charity that will serve people worldwide. We chose to start the collection for Southern Africa since that is where the idea originated.
Ways to Donate:
100% of Monetary donations will go towards the costs of shipping and receiving of the clothing
Clothing donations can be any type of clothes, for any age group, everything from undergarments to every day clothes and winter coats.
We are hoping to collect year round and ship twice a year to different parts of the world in need.
